  It's the first time that we try to grow the giant sunflower and....

• Our garden's spring bloomings
  

  Here are some of our garden's bloomings. I want to add more photos in the next days. It is beautiful to have breakfast in the garden in this warm mornings and all of us working here...we are so lucky!

  Here's a presentation of the classes which will be run @ Poggerino next summer

• We are the giant pumpkin national champions!!
  

  Two pumpkins grown at Poggerino got the first and third prize at the giant pumpkin national competition.

  Our biggest pumpkin weighted 507kg (1118lb) and made the national record.

• An unexpected guest
  

  An October morning I have found him in the garden, a beautiful white lama with pale blue eyes.

• Harvest 2010
  

  After what proved to be a demanding harvest, we brought in the last grapes on the 15^th of October.

• A new vineyard
  

  A new 100%Sangiovese vineard is being planted in Poggerino in these days.

  On assignment in Tuscany, Five Way Cellars employee Ches Cook has reported back after sampling some of the best wines that Poggerino from Chianti, have to offer.
